Our online marketing program includes a creative and innovative curriculum, designed to teach business fundamentals and new technologies in ways that stick with students. We maintain strong ties with industry leaders who serve as advisors to ensure students have the skills and knowledge they need to be successful in the workforce. We believe that students learn by doing, so much so that we made experiential learning a graduation requirement.
Learning Outcomes
Students who complete the online bachelor’s in marketing degree will be able to:
- Analyze data to make better strategic and tactical marketing decisions
- Demonstrate understanding of the four functions of management: planning, organizing, leading, and controlling.
- Showcase skills in networking, personal branding, career planning, strategic career search, interview techniques, salary negotiation, and professional etiquette for today’s global workplace.
- Understand the strategic use of different marketing communication tools including advertising, sales promotion, direct marketing, interactive media, publicity/public relations, sponsorship marketing, point-of-purchase communications, and personal selling.
- Apply new and emerging social media communications systems into marketing plans.
