The Heersink School of Medicine Facilities Team supports the missions of the university and school by managing all school-assigned and leased buildings and properties.

 


 

Conference and Hotel Room Management System

The Heersink School of Medicine has a number of conference rooms that are available to all departments. They are located in FOT, Voker, ALGEN, MCLM, Shelby, BBRB, PBMR, and CH20.

Facility Work Order

The UAB Facilities is managed by Central Administration and includes Transportation, EHS, Maintenance, PDC (Planning Design & Construction), Building Servcies, Grounds, and Sustainability. 

 


 

Common Equipment Repair

The HSOM Facilities team is responsible for the repair of all common equipment (autoclaves, glassware washers, cold rooms, and laboratory ice machines) in our HSOM research buildings. Information about the current repair procedure, the current status of the equipment, and a link to submit a service request via email are below.

 


 

Space Request Management System

Chairs and Administrators can use the Space Request Management System to request space for Research (dry lab, wet lab, clinical research, write-up, etc.), Education (classroom, conferencing, assembly), and Administrative (Offices for faculty and staff) activities.
