Why did you choose UAB?

I wanted to be in the south as I felt like I was a southern girl at heart.

Why did you choose your major?

I chose my major because I enjoy watching kids apply the knowledge they’ve just learned into their daily lives, and I’ve also had plenty of remarkable teachers growing up that are my inspiration.

What is your favorite thing about the UAB School of Education and Human Sciences?

The community that comes with it as it’s across campus, and those who have classes in the building truly have a reason for being there.

What class have you enjoyed the most so far at UAB?

MA 313.

What piece of advice would you give a prospective SOEHS student?

Invest in a planner and prioritize!

What are your plans after you graduate from UAB?

I hope to get a job at an elementary school teaching grades K-2!
