The Master of Arts in Education in TESOL for Teaching English as a Foreign Language prepares candidates for teaching English as a foreign language abroad to both children and adults.

Coursework takes a minimum of 39 semester hours to complete and includes courses in second language acquisition, grammar and linguistics for ESL teachers, phonology for second language teachers, and teaching English in a global context, as well as field studies, a practicum seminar, and practicum.
