UAB URec Summer 2026 Camp Registration is OPEN
Are you looking for an awesome way for you little Blazers to get active this Summer? URec Summer Camps are perfect for you!
This is a great opportunity for children to explore adventure sports, exciting crafts, aquatic activities, and everything University Recreation has to offer under one roof.
The Summer Camp schedule is from 9:00am - 4:00pm and the age range for Day Camps is 5-12 years of age. Campers will need to provide their own lunch.
We look forward to spending time with your little Blazers while you get some free time to yourself!

Rates for Summer Camp UAB Affiliate $175 per child/ per week Non-Affiliates $195 per child/ per week
Pricing for Week 1 & 4 UAB Affiliate $135 per child/ per week Non-Affiliates $155 per child/ per week
*25% deposit is needed to hold your spot in camps. This deposit in non-refundable and non-transferable.
*** Before and After Care options are available at $25 each per week, $20 each per prorated week. Before and After Care are PAID IN FULL at the time of enrollment. -
Refund and Request Form
- Youth camp deposits are non-refundable and non-transferrable. No cash refunds.
- All refund and cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via the Refund Request Form and received by University Recreation Staff.
- Refund requests received 7 or more days prior to the first day of camp are eligible for a full refund minus the 25% deposit.
- **If camp fees are paid in full, a 25% deposit (per child) is considered a deposit
- ** Single Day Camps are eligible for 50% refund
- Refund requests received fewer than 7 days prior to the first day of camp are eligible for a 50% refund of the total amount paid
- Not applicable to Single Day Camps
- Refund requests received fewer than 24 hours prior to the start of camp will not be offered a refund unless the two circumstances below pertain to you.
- Refund requests received fewer than 7 days prior to the start of camp may be offered a full refund for the following situations only:
- Medical Withdrawal (doctor’s note required)
- Military Relocation (documentation required)
- Refunds for before and after care will be credited to the account if there is an existing balance for camp weeks (25% deposit plan)
- Payment for before and after care is due up front, in full. Pricing for before and after care will be prorated if that week of camp is prorated.
- Transfers can be made up to 7 days prior to the first day of camp (deposits are non-transferrable, additional deposit is required)
