Biostatistics Student Organization

Mission: To represent UAB as a student chapter of American Statistical Association and enhance the well-being of all students in the UAB Department of Biostatistics.

Purpose:

• To provide a forum for students to address concerns and foster an atmosphere that is inclusive of all graduate students in the Department of Biostatistics
• To coordinate events that enrich the social and academic environment
• To promote peer mentoring
• To stimulate research collaboration
