UAB Urology physicians have extensive experience in diagnosing and treating male infertility

Our team treats urinary incontinence in both men and women using a multidisciplinary approach that combines expertise in urology and surgical care when needed. We offer a range of treatment options, which may include medication, physical and behavioral therapy, bladder control strategies, biofeedback, fluid and diet management, and surgical procedures. Treatment plans are personalized based on diagnosis and medical and surgical history.

UAB’s Continence and Urogynecology Care Clinic is a nationally recognized leader in pelvic floor care, serving as the first NAFC Center of Excellence (2014–2019) and one of only eight NIH-designated Pelvic Floor Disorders Network sites. Since 1992, we’ve treated over 6,000 patients with innovative, often non-surgical therapies, supported by more than $9 million in research funding and 1,000-plus clinical trial participants driving breakthrough treatments.
