Match Day 2025UAB Department of Surgery is honored to welcome 14 residents across three residency programs in the 2025 Match.

“Match Day is the culmination of a lifetime of hard work and a day for us all to celebrate the accomplishments of our new residents,” says Fay Fletcher Kerner Endowed Chair of the Department of Surgery Herbert Chen, M.D. “Our phenomenal residency program directors are dedicated to the professional growth and development of each of our trainees, and we look forward to watching them flourish in this next phase of their career.”
