The University of Alabama at Birmingham Department of Neurosurgery is pleased to welcome Morgan Dew, MSN, CPNP, as a pediatric advanced practice provider (APP).

Dew is a nurse practitioner (NP) with four years of experience, joining the department and bringing both clinical expertise and a strong connection to pediatric neurosurgery.

She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama and her undergraduate degree from Troy University. Most recently, Dew served as a certified pediatric NP at Urgent Care for Children, located in Madison, Alabama. Before becoming an NP, she spent eight years at Children’s of Alabama, where she worked both in the operating room and as a nurse clinician in neurosurgery.

Outside of her professional role, Dew enjoys time with her husband and four daughters, often joking that she serves as her family’s “unpaid chauffeur.” She also has a love for the arts, attending concerts and supporting her children as they develop their talents.
