UAB Sports & Exercise Medicine at the 2024 AMSSM Annual MeetingThe UAB Sports & Exercise Medicine team will present at the 2025 American Medical Society for Sports Medicine (AMSSM) Annual Meeting in Kansas City, Mo., from April 22 to April 27, 2025.

The American Medical Society for Sports Medicine is a society formed and crafted specifically for primary care non-surgical sports medicine physicians. The AMSSM “provides a forum to foster professional relationships among sports medicine physicians to advance the discipline of sports medicine through education, research, advocacy and excellence in patient care.”

The AMSSM Annual Meeting is known as the premier educational event for sports medicine physicians and healthcare providers, offering innovative insights into clinical practice, scientific research, advocacy and education. Attendees gain valuable insights into injury and disease management, healthcare policy, faculty development, and current sports medicine issues, while fostering collaboration, networking, and professional growth across diverse specialties. This year’s theme is “Elevate The Field: Inspiring Innovation in Sports Medicine,” challenging attendees to explore new ideas in clinical practice and apply cutting-edge research to patient care.
