The purpose of SAIL is to offer a leadership development opportunity for a small cohort of junior faculty in order to help them navigate the challenges unique to assistant professors in medicine.

"SAIL provides assistant professors with the setting to discuss not only the LDO curated leadership topics but also issues that participants suggest relevant to being an assistant professor," said Kellie Carter, Senior Leadership Development Specialist.

The SAIL spring 2025 graduates include:

Fedora Biney, Ph.D., Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
Julie Brown, M.D., Department of Emergency Medicine
