Exchange Programs
Reciprocal exchange programs allow students to study abroad at a partner university while paying their current UAB tuition rate. Exchanges are great for independent students or those who would like to use their UAB Educational Assistance benefit. These programs offer a wide variety of courses and opportunities to get involved in student clubs or organizations.

Affiliate Programs
Choosing an affiliate program means opening yourself up to more destination options and additional opportunities like service-learning, internships, and additional scholarships. Students pay a comprehensive program fee rather than their UAB tuition. Affiliate semester programs are provided through trusted third parties like WorldStrides, USAC, and CIS Abroad.
