An example schedule for the Master of Engineering-ASEM with enrollment in 2 courses per semester is shown below. You may also choose to enroll in 1 course per semester or more than 2 if your student funding requires it. Your advisor is Dr. Burke and he will assist you with course plans. Please be sure to contact Dr. Burke (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) for questions regarding course options.
ASEM courses will be held in the 14-week semester format, in spring, summer and fall. You will register for ASEM 601 every semester. The ASEM 601 seminar is a zero credit, no tuition, no fee course and is where we meet for guest lectures, post job openings or make program-wide announcements.
To earn the degree, you must complete 33 credit hours (11 courses). ASEM 610, 614, 617, 619 and 620 are required courses. You may choose from the remaining courses in the ASEM curriculum to complete the degree. There are a few pathways that students often choose to complete the degree.
