Why did you choose UAB?
I chose UAB I chose UAB because of the many resources available to help students succeed and numerous organizations to join. The campus is beautiful and nearby to many good restaurants and fun events.
Why did you choose your major?
I chose to major in Elementary Education because I've always been passionate about learning and helping others achieve their goals. I want to teach my future students that they can accomplish their dreams.
What is your favorite thing about the UAB School of Education?
My favorite thing about the UAB School of Education is the encouraging and helpful advisors that are always looking out for us and there to help when needed.
What class have you enjoyed the most so far at UAB?
The class I have enjoyed the most so far at UAB is algebraic and numerical reasoning because I learned so many new things.
What is your favorite place to study on or off campus
My favorite place to study is the third floor of Sterne Library.
What piece of advice would you give a prospective UAB School of Education student?
The advice I would give to a prospective UAB SOE student would be to reach out to your professors or advisors if you have questions because they are there to help you and want to see you succeed. I would also recommend showing up to class and completing the assignments because you will learn useful information for your future career in education.
What are your plans after you graduate from UAB?
My plans after graduation are to start teaching at an elementary school in the Birmingham area.
