About the Program

Substance use disorders add a complex layer to patient care. Build upon your already considerable expertise as an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) by learning the latest skills and current guidance on dealing with this unique patient population, whether patients are adults or were exposed to substances in utero or as infants or children.

The Graduate Certificate in Addictions Nursing program prepares APRNs with courses that include foundational concepts, prevention, early intervention, trends, and policy issues. Applicants must have a master’s degree and a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher to apply to this post-graduate program.
