CITP Header Image View CRSP Education Dates
What: CITP is a hands-on didactic and pragmatic training and education program to prepare new investigators in the conduct and implementation of human subject research.
Why: To promote awareness of the role and responsibility of principal investigators in the conduct of clinical research and good clinical practice (GCP) competencies for investigators conducting clinical research. To enhance investigator awareness of the administrative infrastructure supporting clinical research at UAB, and promote its effective utilization to enable efficient time-to-trial-activation.
Who: The program is designed for those with MDs, DOs, DMDs, and PhDs, with a heavy emphasis on the responsibilities of investigators when overseeing clinical trials with humans.
Where: Sessions are presented via Zoom
When: Tuesdays for five weeks; 9 AM-1 PM for Fall sessions and 1-5 PM for Spring sessions. See below for details.
