The 2026 CCTS Translational Science Symposium is a one-and-a-half-day learning and networking event that gathers exceptional scholars and professionals of all levels of the translational career arc from across the Tri-State CCTS Partner Network. Each day of the event will be filled with a robust lineup of structured learning sessions and workshops administered by subject matter experts who bring a wealth of knowledge to elevate the learning experience.

This year, join us for an afternoon kick-off event, “Collaborative Workshop: The Science of Dissemination and Implementation,” a preconference workshop being held on October 28th, 2026, from 1-5pm. Be sure to select the option to attend pre-conference events on the TSS26 registration form.

Key highlights on the conference agenda include a keynote presentation from nationally renowned scientific communication guru Sara Serritella from the University of Chicago. Also, you don’t want to miss the popular Three Minute Thesis, Science Bites TED-Style Talks, and TSS26 poster presentations. Please join us on the evening of October 29th for the CCTS Scholars’ Dinner where we will celebrate the interdisciplinary synergy of the CCTS Partner Network. Share Your Science!

Are you ready to showcase your research and sharpen your communication skills? Join us for the upcoming 2026 CCTS Translational Science Symposium held on October 28-30. On October 29th, you can share your science through a 3-Minute Thesis Presentation or a Poster Presentation. This is a fantastic opportunity for research scholars from across the CCTS Tri-State region to engage with the research community. Attendees who present a Poster Presentation or a Three-Minute Thesis may be eligible for the CCTS Travel Award, which reimburses up to $300 in travel expenses to the symposium.

To qualify for the Travel Award:

  • Participants must register for and attend the entire symposium
  • Participants must register for and present either a Poster Presentation or a Three-Minute Thesis
  • Pre-Doctoral and Post-Doctoral Trainees from CCTS Partner Institutions only

Travel award will be awarded post-symposium after all parameters are satisfied. The award is a travel reimbursement, so no cash award will be given. Click here to download the 2026 travel awards instructions.
