Are you a doctoral international student at UAB with research and practice-based experience outside the US?
The International Student Connect (ISC) Ambassador Program is a new initiative launched by the Sparkman Center for Global Health (SCGH) with the objective of providing mentorship and resources to international doctoral students who have research or practice-based experience in public health or global health from their home countries.
The program helps us to hone your skills and educational experience at UAB by connecting you to necessary resources that amplify your work in reducing the global burden of disease and health inequities and disparities that plague middle-to-low-income countries.
As an ISC Ambassador, you will receive guidance and support to continue public health research or experiences you were involved with as a current UAB student. We are excited to connect with you to learn more about your work internationally and how we can assist you in building out your previous or current research/ practice-based work.
