Any vacation accrual balances in excess of the total maximum accrual for exempt monthly employees will roll over to sick accruals on Jan. 1, 2026, in accordance with HR Policy 301: Vacation. The rollover will reflect approved time‑off requests and balances as of Dec. 31, 2025.

Please note:

• Although the rollover occurs on Jan. 1, 2026, the December 2025 time entry period will remain open until Jan. 30, 2026.
• Employees are strongly encouraged to submit all December entries before Jan. 1, 2026.
• Entries submitted after Dec. 31 will still be reflected in the system and will adjust Campus Time & Attendance (CTA) balances accordingly.
• Any entries dated prior to December 2025 require an exception form and leadership approval.

If employees encounter an error when trying to submit a request, they may follow the workaround posted in the myUAB portal under CTA Requesting Time Off Error. The vendor is actively working to resolve this issue.
