The AWARE Disability Management Program is expanding its Neurodiversity in the Workplace series, which features LinkedIn Learning resources to give employees insight into recruiting, retaining and understanding neurodiverse members of the workforce.
The series launched last year with Neurodiversity in the Workplace Learning Path, a series of short videos designed to give users insight into understanding neurodiverse people, and Hiring and Supporting Neurodiversity in the Workplace, a two-hour course that looks at how to recruit and support neurodivergent talent, while building understanding of what supporting neurodiversity in the workplace involves.
Building on these foundational concepts, Deepening Your Understanding of the Neurodiverse Employee dives deeper into understanding neurodivergent employees and offers practical strategies for communication, clarity and team management.
Access to LinkedIn Learning is free for all full-time regular and temporary employees as well as part-time regular, interns/residents, 3/12 shift employees, weekend staff, post-doctoral scholar trainees and employees. Visit uab.edu/linkedinlearning to learn more.
