If you smoke cigarettes every day, you may be eligible for a research study with the University of Alabama at Birmingham, in conjunctions with MUSC (The Medical University of South Carolina). The research study involves initial online screening, 8 contacts over 6 months and a chance to try varenicline, a prescription smoking cessation medication, or nicotine patches and lozenges. Items are mailed to you if eligible. Compensation is available for those who are eligible and participate.
