The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) is conducting a research study through the Alabama Vaccine Research Clinic to evaluate the safety of investigational antibodies being studied for future HIV prevention.

We are seeking healthy adults between the ages of 18 and 55 who are HIV-negative and interested in participating in research. This is a Phase 1 study focused on safety and tolerability of investigational lab made antibodies to fight against HIV. It includes clinic visits over 6-12 months and the investigational product to be administer one of two ways; injection/shot or infusion; with study procedures such as but not limited to regular blood collections, questionaries, and vitals.

Participation is voluntary. Qualified participants may receive compensation for time and travel. All study procedures are explained in detail before enrollment.

If you are interested in learning more, please contact the Alabama Vaccine Research Clinic 205-934-7492 or fill out our pre-screening interview form.
