The Nineteenth International Conference on Endothelin (ET-19)

About the International Conference on Endothelin (ET-19)
Established in 1988, this global biomedical conference has now entered its fourth decade. The endothelin conferences are held biannually in a rotating fashion in America, Europe, and Asia, presenting the latest in basic and clinical science on endothelins and endothelin receptor antagonists (ERAs). This website provides information about the history, science, and past endothelin conferences, as well as videos, lectures, and presentations from some of the previous conferences.

More than 35 years ago, the Japanese physician-scientist Tomoh Masaki (1934-2020) discovered endothelins and endothelin receptors at the University of Tsukuba between 1987 and 1990. The scientific advances and new patient treatments resulting from Professor Masaki's discoveries are summarized in Endothelin - 30 years from discovery to therapyIn memoriam: Tomoh Masaki.
