Team UAB supports the Alabama Kidney Foundation through a series of fundraising efforts to benefit local kidney patients in need, including the annual Birmingham Kidney Walk.

Participants in the Birmingham Kidney Walk can set personal donation goals and help spread awareness. A bake sale is also often organized, inviting supporters to contribute by baking, purchasing treats, or volunteering. Team UAB aims to raise donations through these efforts and is led by the Division of Nephrology.
