The UAB 1917 Clinic offers confidential and free rapid HIV testing.

HIV test results are usually available within twenty (20) minutes. Individuals receiving HIV testing may also be eligible to complete additional STI testing (chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis, and trichomonas) if they are without symptoms. Samples are processed at an external laboratory and results are usually available within 10 business days. No insurance is required for HIV and STI testing.
