About the Program

The explosion of eSports at the high school, college and professional levels means new career opportunities for students interested in working at the intersection of traditional sports and video gaming. Our B.S. in eSports Performance Management and Coaching—one of only a few such programs in the Southeast region and the only one in Alabama—prepares students to pursue their interests in this rapidly expanding digital field.

Individual and team competitors in eSports are in need of skilled coaching, management and communication. Whether you’re an eSports athlete or someone interested in supporting the competitive careers of others, our curriculum will provide training across a wide array of courses, particularly performance management and coaching, to ensure that regardless of your path, you’ll be well positioned for success.
