Preview Days
UAB offers two types of preview days for prospective students: UAB Day for high school students looking to enter UAB after graduation and Transfer Preview Day for college students who may be interested in transferring to UAB. Both of these events offer a great overview of what life is like as a UAB student.
UAB in Your Area
Prospective high school students are invited to join us for UAB Day, which features a browsing fair of academic departments and student services, academic breakout sessions, special interest sessions, campus tours, and more.
Transfer Preview Day
Students interested in transferring to UAB are invited to Transfer Preview Day, where you can speak with representatives from academic departments, learn more about student services specifically for transfer students, and hear from a panel of current UAB students who also transferred to UAB.

“I chose UAB because it was truly the first college tour where I felt at home. I instantly knew that this University is not only where I wanted to be, but where I needed to be. The welcoming environment, beautiful campus, and endless opportunity was something that I could not turn down! Every day at UAB since has proven to me that I made the right choice.”
