Join the UAB community on April 13th in supporting the future leaders of tomorrow through Give as One.On Thursday, April 13, the University of Alabama at Birmingham will host Give as One a university wide celebration of philanthropy. It is a one-day philanthropic event that brings together students, alumni, faculty, staff, employees, the local community, and supporters worldwide to support current and future generations of UAB.
This year, the community will have the opportunity to support 20 projects representing all schools and colleges across campus, as well as units such as athletics and the Provost’s Office. Donors can support the projects that means the most to them.
There is no limit to what we can accomplish when we all come together, says Jennie Dickerson, UAB’s director of Annual Giving. Any amount is welcomed.
“Give as One is an exciting opportunity to impact students by giving directly to the projects that each school and unit on campus needs funding for the most,” Dickerson said. “I am especially proud of these featured projects because many of them support UAB and Birmingham community partnerships and programs.”
