On Wednesday, Feb. 15, students are invited to the 2017 Business, Engineering & Technology Career Fair held at the Hill Student Center Ballroom. The event is from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. and is a must-go-to event for all UAB students interested in careers in business, engineering or technology.

Veteran Services Wreath laying Ceremony
Veteran Services is hosting their annual Wreath Laying Ceremony on Veterans Day Nov. 11 on the Campus Green. They will begin at 1 p.m. and will include a performance by the army band, a guest speaker and refreshments will be provided. -

Martinez to lead Student Services at UAB
Patricia A.R. Martinez has been named assistant vice president for Student Services in the Division of Student Affairs at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Martinez has more than 26 years of experience in service to students; most recently serving as acting executive director of Housing & Residential Life at Northern Illinois University.
