UAB’s Office of Career and Professional Development is hosting career fairs during the fall semester to offer students the chance to meet and network with potential employers. Underclassmen will learn about available part-times jobs and internships, while for seniors, job searching becomes less challenging when potential employers are all in one room.

The average person is expected to hold 11.7 jobs between the ages of 18-45. Learning career skills early can benefit you for a lifetime. UAB Career & Professional Development offers two career courses for Fall 2016.

UAB Career and Professional Development and the YWCA Central Alabama’s “Building Communities, Bettering Lives” AmeriCorps program will host an AmeriCorps Career Fair on Friday, April 1 from 12 p.m. - 4 p.m. in the Hill Student Center Ballroom.

Networking opportunities are open for students and alumni seeking internships and full-time positions in these fields 10 a.m.-3 p.m. in the Hill Student Center Ballroom. 

UAB Career and Professional Development will host Healthcare Career Day on Thursday, January 28, from 1 - 4pm in the Hill Student Center Ballroom.
