UAB Libraries will be hosting a workshop to teach students how to create Augmented Reality Valentine’s Day cards.

Valentines Day Stream Looking for a unique Valentine’s Day gift for your special someone? Join the University of Alabama at Birmingham for an Augmented Reality Valentine’s Day Card workshop hosted by UAB Libraries.

In this session, individuals will learn how to create a personalized digital card using an augmented reality program. This will provide participants an opportunity to learn more about augmented reality and how to use it and put it into real-world practice.

This event will be held from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Feb. 12 and 14 at Lister Hill Library of the Health Sciences.

This workshop will cover accessing augmented reality software, customizing the prebuilt scenes and knowing how to explain to others how to access content for their personal card.

No experience is needed for this event. Attendees may bring their own device or borrow one from the library.
