UAB will alter university operations with a late start on Monday, Jan. 26, due to winter weather. UAB Health System will maintain normal operations. Please read the following details carefully.

The university will delay opening, with classes and normal business operations starting at 10 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 26.

Hospitals do not close and UAB Medicine central Alabama ambulatory clinics will maintain normal operations (including UAB St. Vincent’s, UAB Medical West, UAB Hospital-Callahan Eye).

UAB school-based clinics (UAB School of Dentistry Clinic and UAB School of Optometry Clinic) will open at 10 a.m. Only emergency care will be available before then.
BLAZER EXPRESS

Blazer Express will operate on its regular schedule Monday morning, serving all UAB Medicine routes, including North Pavilion, TKC and Blue.

STUDENTS
Classes will start at 10 a.m. on Monday. Before 10 a.m., some student services will be limited:

RESIDENCE HALLS: Residence halls will remain open, and Housing and Residence Life staff are on duty within the residence halls.

DINING: The Commons will open on Monday at 9 a.m.; other University restaurants will open at 10 a.m.

HILL CENTER: Hill Student Center will open Monday at 10 a.m.

UREC: University Recreation will open Monday at 10 a.m.

STUDENT HEALTH SERVICES: Student Health Services will open at 10 a.m. on Monday. However, if you have an illness and need assistance, call 205-934-3411 and ask for the Student Health Services doctor on-call.
UAB CHILD CARE
The UAB Early Learning Center will open at 10 a.m. on Monday.
