The Elevate Your Leadership in the Age of AI program equips today's professionals with the skills and strategies to lead in the age of AI. The rise of AI has been a significant factor in the evolution of the workplace and restructuring tasks, leadership, behaviors, skills and judgment. Join the University of Alabama at Birmingham Collat School of Business for its Elevate Your Leadership in the Age of AI program and develop leadership skills needed to guide people, teams and organizations through change.
Over the course of seven months, this leadership development experience will help professionals strengthen self-awareness, communication, trust-building, decision-making and practical leadership skills. The program is ideal for emerging leaders, new managers, high-potential professionals and experienced leaders preparing for greater responsibility.
The program’s learning focus includes:
- Exploring the changing nature of work
- Leading through ambiguity and anxiety
- Delegating with autonomy and trust
- Developing a team in an AI world
- Building ethical judgment as a management skill
- Rethinking performance and evaluation
- Delivering impactful presentations to drive decisions
- Understanding and leveraging preferred communication styles
Corporate, departmental or personal support of $5,500 covers the entire program. For companies or departments sending three or more participants, it is $4,500 per person.
Throughout the seven-month program, participants will experience:
- A high-impact, two-day off-site retreat
- Monthly full-day leadership sessions
- Graduation dinner, breakfast and lunch during in-person sessions, along with a celebratory graduation dinner in April
- Learning materials and personal strengths assessments
- Expert-led instruction and facilitated cohort learning
- Personalized coaching and support throughout the program

- Session 1: Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2026
- Session 2: Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2026 (virtual)
- Session 3: Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2027
- Session 4: Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2027
- Session 5: Wednesday, March 10, 2027
- Final Session and Graduation: Wednesday, April 14, 2027
