Registration is open now for spring break and summer camps presented by ArtPlay Community Education at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Camps will take place in the ArtPlay House and in UAB’s Alys Stephens Performing Arts Center.

ArtPlay’s Spring Break Camp
Spring into creativity at ArtPlay’s Spring Break Camp. Get ready for a week of artistic inspiration, where creativity takes center stage. Campers are invited to learn dynamic theater games that unlock storytelling, explore the joy of movement through expressive dance sessions, and spark their imagination with a mix of fun and exciting art activities. Led by experienced instructors, this unique fusion of body movement, theater and art promises a week filled with laughter, imagination and artistic discovery.

*ArtPlay’s Spring Break Camp will provide extended care options for up to 20 campers. Parents may drop off as early as 7:30 a.m. and pick up no later than 5:30 p.m. for an additional $75.
ArtPlay’s Musical Theatre Summer Camps
ArtPlay’s Musical Theatre Camps introduce campers to many aspects of musical theater with a variety of fun classes. Campers can learn theater games, improvisation, warm-ups, dance, vocal exercises, voice and diction, terminology, acting, and stage production, all while developing a character and rehearsing for a full staged musical production at the end of camp. The first two camps are two-week camps, while the third camp, for children and teens ages 12-18, will enjoy a three-week camp. ArtPlay Musical Theatre Camps take place in UAB’s Alys Stephens Center, 1200 10th Ave. South, Birmingham.
