Jun Takei, M.D., joins the UAB Department of Neurosurgery as a postdoctoral researcher in the Osuka Lab.
 
Takei is originally from Saitama, Japan, a prefecture located just north of Tokyo with a population of 7.3 million people. He has extensive clinical experience in treating brain tumors and vascular disorders. 
 
In his free time, he enjoys reading books, watching movies and playing golf.
