Proposals, pain points, problems — maybe you have a solution, but you don’t know the tools or processes to get you there. That’s where IT can help. From simple to complex, we have you covered with automations and integrations, redesign and re-engineering. Together, we can take your idea from proposal to innovation.
Faculty, staff and students are invited to submit their ideas for transformative projects.
“When teams at UAB collaborate, we can transform the ordinary into the extraordinary,” said Jaime Hudson, director of IT governance and portfolio management. “With your ideas, we can help put the pieces of the puzzle together — connecting systems, improving processes, and making work, academics and life easier for everyone at UAB.”
Over most of the past decade, UAB IT has been tracking technology wins on campus. A majority of those projects have been initiated by individuals and departments at UAB, who simply needed UAB IT to help put the pieces together to launch new technology or redesign a process.
“We strive to be a strategic partner for campus,” said Robert Howard, associate vice president and deputy chief information officer. “When we work together, we can transform UAB and continue moving into the future of technology, academics, research and medicine.”
UAB IT will keep campus updated on the progress of transformational projects at go.uab.edu/transformation, and via UAB IT social media channels.
