UAB employees have until April 30 to complete security awareness training in the UAB Campus Learning system.

Employees who have not completed training should have received reminder emails about the deadline.

“Information security is a team sport, and ensuring that all of our faculty and staff are up to date on the latest threats and tools to thwart them is essential to protecting UAB data,” said Rob Ferrill, chief information security officer for UAB. “In addition, some employees may be required by regulations or standards to complete such training, and we could face consequences in the event of a breach if not all of our staff has taken the training.”

The training is thorough but easy to complete and can be found in the Campus Learning System.
