Wellscreens 2025Registration opens August 18; screening dates October 2-November 25
Wellscreens, the annual biometric health screenings from UAB Employee Wellness, returns to campus starting October 2. Registration for 2025 screening dates opens August 18. The 15-minute screening is free to all benefit-eligible UAB, UAB Hospital, UAB LLC, UAB Health System/UA Health Services Foundation and Cooper Green employees, and My Health Rewards participants earn 1,500 points for completing a Wellscreens. Park Passport ChallengeSign up between August 20-29; challenge runs through September 17
Grab your virtual passport and get ready to explore the great outdoors during the Fall Into Health Park Passport Challenge! Between August 20 and September 17, UAB Employee Wellness invites you to stay active, win prizes and fill up your passport by visiting some of the many parks and outdoor attractions in our area. Follow the steps below to participate:
- Sign up: Email UABWellness@uab.edu from your UAB email address by August 29 to receive your virtual passport. We will keep a copy of your passport on file and track the stamps you earn throughout the challenge.
- Snap a pic: At each destination you visit between August 20 and September 17, snap a photo in front of a park sign or other recognizable landmark and email it to UABWellness@uab.edu. We will add a unique park stamp to your passport for each new location you send us.
- Collect to win: Collect three or more stamps to be entered to win an Employee Wellness gift basket; My Health Rewards participants will also earn 150 points.

Gentle Yoga, from the UAB Employee Assistance & Counseling Center, offers a slow-paced yet challenging experience in a judgment-free environment. Gain flexibility, strength and coordination, and enhance your heart and mental health and overall wellbeing.
Join the UAB EACC Yoga group on GroupMe for registration information and class announcements. You must register each week to attend. A registration link will be posted in Group Me on Saturdays at 7 a.m.
Fitness at Home Resources- EACC Virtual Yoga: To take advantage of the benefits of yoga at home or on the go, check out some of the videos from EACC certified yoga instructor Ashley Clarke for a slow-paced yet challenging yoga experience in a judgment-free environment.
