Research rotations provide an opportunity for each student to experience the research environment in several different labs. These experiences are critical for choosing an appropriate lab/mentor for one's thesis work.

The mentor and the student are to complete and submit an evaluation of the lab rotation using one of the forms below. These forms can also be found on the forms page under "student resources" on our website. The Lab Rotation Mentor will assign a letter grade on the evaluation form to indicate the student's performance in the lab rotation.

Students must complete at least three lab rotations in three different labs prior to joining a thesis lab.

• • Early Spring 2025: January 13 - March 14
  • Late Spring 2025: March 17 - May 16 (if needed)
  • Early Fall 2025: August 11 - October 10, 2025
  • Late Fall 2025: October 13 - December 12, 2025
  • Early Spring 2026: January 12 - March 13, 2026
  • Late Spring 2026: March 16 - May 15, 2026 (if needed)
