ProctorU Upgrade

The updated ProctorU integration with Canvas allows for faster exam scheduling for faculty as the integration pulls parameters such as dates and time limits from the Canvas exam. Students will be able to make an appointment with ProctorU from within Canvas. The new version of ProctorU will be available for test setup and registration starting Thursday May 7th. Portfolio

Canvas has released an Enhanced Canvas Portfolio tool that is now available. The new Portfolio tool combines the ePortfolium benefits of multiple portfolios per user with robust features of Folio to allow multi-user collaboration and tagging. This tool will replace the two older student portfolio tools currently available in Canvas, Folio and ePortfolios. Folio and ePortfolios will not be available after June 30th, 2026.

WW Norton

Optional publisher LTI connection to Canvas that instructors may use, depending on their textbook, will be upgraded to the newest version by Thursday, May 7th. Please contact WW Norton for more information on using the new LTI tool. The short version is to build content in WW Norton now and connect your upcoming Canvas course after May 7th.

McGraw-Hill LTI Updates

McGraw-Hill Campus and Connect are optional publisher LTI connection to Canvas that instructors may use, depending on their textbook. These will be upgraded to the latest versions by Thursday, May 7th. Please contact McGraw-Hill for more information on using the new LTI tool. The short version is to build content in McGraw-Hill now and connect McGraw-Hill to your upcoming Canvas course after May 7th.
