Emma Hankey is a sophomore at the University of Alabama at Birmingham pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Public Health with a minor in Legal Affairs and participating in the Accelerated Bachelor’s/Master’s (ABM) Program in Public Health with a concentration in Health Policy and Organization. I am involved in several campus organizations, including the Honors College, Undergraduate Student Government Association, Blazer Spirit Council, Panhellenic Council, Alpha Xi Delta, UAB Pre-Law, UAB School of Public Health, Public Health Student Association, and the Society of Women in Pre-Law, where I enjoy developing my leadership skills, advocating for my peers, and engaging with my campus community. I am passionate about the intersection of public health, policy, and law, and I hope to pursue a career in government where I can help shape health policy, advocate for underserved communities, and create meaningful change through legislation and public service.
