David Delk is a junior at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he is pursuing a bachelor's degree in Public Health with a minor in Legal Affairs. With a strong interest in the intersection of public health and criminal justice, David brings experience in data-driven legal and neurogenetic research as a student researcher. He plans to pursue a career in public health policy, working to close gaps in health inequity, expand healthcare access, and develop evidence-based policies that improve health outcomes for underserved communities. Through his academic and research experiences, David is committed to advancing policies that promote health equity to create lasting, positive change in public health systems.
