My name is Zainab Almazaydeh. I received my B.Sc. from the Hashemite University in Jordan and am currently pursuing my Ph.D. under the supervision of Dr. Jay Gatlin. My research investigates the function of the dynein motor protein across distinct phases of the cell cycle by characterizing its differential interactome between interphase and mitosis. To address these questions, I apply molecular and proteomic approaches in both immortalized and cancer cell lines. Outside the laboratory, I enjoy baking and cooking as a creative way to unwind.
