    Description:

The primary responsibility of this position is to create personalized proposals, correspondence, and stewardship/impact reports on behalf of the Heersink School of Medicine Advancement team.     University Events Specialist

    Description:

    The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) seeks a University Events Specialist to support the Office of Advancement and the Heersink School of Medicine. This position will plan, coordinate, and execute professional and/or special events. This position determines the range and scope of event services in order to arrange a well-planned and executed event. The University Events Specialist may negotiate contractual agreements and ensure the terms of catering contracts are followed within budget guidelines. The position may plan, coordinate, publicize and implement more than 40 events per year.
