Program Coordinator I (Part Time)
Description:
The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) seeks a Program Coordinator I to work part-time, 20 hours per week, in the Office of Advancement with the Benevolent Fund team. Under general supervision, coordinates administrative, personnel and logistical support for a defined department program. Carries out established program objectives and directives. Determines the best approach to accomplish assignments. May supervise support staff. Communicates, using a variety of media, with internal and external constituencies. May be responsible for adherence to program budget and/or other fiscal duties. May assist with grant and contract preparation and submission. May handle data management.
Development Writer
Description:
The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) seeks a Development Writer for the UAB Medicine/Heersink School of Medicine Advancement team. The primary responsibility of this position is to create personalized proposals, correspondence, and stewardship/impact reports on behalf of the Heersink School of Medicine Advancement team. The writer will assist with developing and enhancing the print and digital content with the goal of strengthening relationships with donors to UAB. This position will work closely with other members of UAB Advancement, Heersink School of Medicine and other University personnel to translate the Heersink School of Medicine’s mission and goals into substantial achievements in fundraising and general advancement.
Senior Director of Development II, School of Dentistry
Description:
The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) seeks a Senior Director of Development II with the Office of Advancement and School of Dentistry. This position will be expected to develop fundraising priorities and seek to grow philanthropic success through established metrics on an annual basis – including dollar, visit, solicitations and proposals presented goals. The incumbent will also lead and direct the operations of the University of Alabama School of Dentistry Alumni Association 501c3 including the coordination of alumni events and receptions, alumni weekend, alumni awards, and provide strategic guidance and support to members and volunteer leadership. The Senior Director II will be responsible for leading a team of fundraisers and alumni officers to surpass metrics while also providing coaching and mentorship.
Prospect Research Analyst
Description:
The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) seeks a Prospect Research Analyst to conduct thorough research analysis to identify potential donors to the Heersink School of Medicine (HSOM). This team member will be responsible for identifying and researching individuals from various HSOM constituencies that include alumni, existing/potential donors, and grateful patients who may be interested in funding various clinical and research initiatives that align with their excellent patient experience. This candidate will work closely with the HSOM fundraising team to screen, validate lists, and prepare prospect profiles according to ethical guidelines, and will serve as a central support informational resource for the HSOM.
