Ross Healy

My name is Ross Healy I live in Australia. I am probably the youngest of the people mentioned here. I also probably don't fit in as well as the others but I'm sure Sun Ra and Arkestra didn't fit in well either!

I am 34 years old a huge fan of electronic music and avant guard, improv, free jazz, electronica and noise. I actually have only been into Sun Ra for about 6 years now and have been lucky enough to obtain about 85 recordings of Ra since then including rather rare records like Disco 3000!!!!.

My real interest in Ra is his 70s Moog era, although I love about all he has recorded.

My favourite artists are. Sun Ra, Merzbow, Atom, Aphex Twin, Squarepusher, Autechre, George Russell, Anthony Braxton, David Tudor, John Cage ,Thomas Lehn and Gert Jan Prins.

My Favourite Sun Ra recordings are : Oblique Parallax, Disco 3000, Nuits de Foundation 1& 2, Cosmic Tones For Mental Therapy, Cosmos and My Bro the Wind 2.

I actually have released many records myself under many names over the past 15 years my latest releases are below. These are more avant electronics than jazz.
