Using WS_FTP

First, you will need FTP (File Transfer Protocol) software. For PC's, use WS_FTP
Next, be sure you have configured WS_FTP to connect to your personal web site.

When you start the WS_FTP program, a Connect window opens. Select My Personal Web Site or whatever name you gave to this profile.
Click the OK button.

Highlight the name of the file or files that you want to upload to your personal web site.
Click ASCII for text files (HTML is text), and Binary to transfer images or other non-text files.
Click the arrow in the center that is pointing toward your personal web site to initiate the transfer.
