Open Outlook Express
click Tools/Accounts
Click the News Tab (1) Click Add (2) News (3)
Enter your name.
and click Next
Enter your e-mail address.
and click Next
Enter the News server
news.dpo.uab.edu
and click Next
Click Finish
Click the news server to highlight

Enter a word to search for (3)
Double-click the newsgroup you wish to subscribe to (4) or click once
and then click "Subscribe"
Click OK (5)
Click the newsgroup in your folders list (1)
and the item in the subject list (2)
and away you go......
