You can retrieve addresses from the UAB Electronic Phonebook using the PH directory service.

Under the menu item Tools, select the item Options
(a) Highlight the word and icon for Hosts (b) In the box labeled Ph, type: ns.uab.edu (c)Click the OK button.
To use Ph, under the menu item Tools, select the words Directory Services
(a) Use the pull-down menu to be sure that ns.uab.edu appears in the window. (b)In the box labeled Command, type your search term. Notice that in this example, we have used G* to mean "All last names beginning with G". If we had used G alone, we would get all Jill's with the middle initial G. (c)Click the Ph button to go do the search.
Your answers come back into the window below. Some additional information is printed with each entry to help you select the right one. To use the address found, you must copy and paste your result into your e-mail To: line or into your personal address book.
