LISTSERV (e-mail correspondence lists).

Any activity which furthers UAB  mission in education, research and community service may be eligible to manage a  group e-mail mailing list, for the purpose of carrying out communication which  is critical to the entity's operation. Examples of approved listservs are for  class discussions and the Faculty Senate. Requests for a ListServ must have  executive level approval.
