Now that I've installed the LDAP Directory Service, how do I use it?

How to Use the LDAP Directory Service : Pegasus

Start a new mail message.
Under the menu item "Addresses", select LDAP client.
The Pegasus LDAP is very advanced.  You can search by first name, last name, phone; it will also do "fuzzy" searching using "is like" ("sounds like")

(a) Use the drop down lists to define your search

(b) You need to check the "And the" box to use the second line

(c) Be sure the directory is set to UAB Electronic Phonebook

(d) When you're ready, push the Query button.

(a) Examine your search Results.  Click on the name that you believe is the one you are looking for.

(b) The "Details" box gives you more information such as department, title and phone.

(c) Click the Paste button to move the address into the e-mail message
Complete your e-mail and send, as usual.
